Evelyn J. Collins, age 88, of Franklin, OH; went home to be with the Lord on Friday September 9, 2011 at Sycamore Glen Retirement Center. Evelyn was born in Carlisle, OH on June 8, 1923 to Harry and Elma (Dearth) Gross. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Marjorie Rager, and her husband Ray Collins. Evelyn is survived by 2 sons Gailen Collins and wife Kathryn Lowry-Collins and Rodger Collins and wife Anita; step daughter Joan Doliboa; 3 grandchildren Andrew Collins, Dawn Alsept, and Susan Wolfenbarger; and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services are Tuesday September 13, 2011 at 1pm at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12pm until the time of the service.
