I first met Bruce in 1985 in my role as director of the local Junior Achievement program. Springboro schools were considering using our Economics materials as part of their Government program and Bruce was asked to be the first teacher I worked with. The program was very successful since Bruce embraced it, and we have done the program ever since. Thanks to him every student who has graduated from SHS since that done has been given this important and necessary education in Economics. Bruce could appear very serious when you first met him but once you got to know him, he was very warm and even funny !! I always thought he loosened up after he got involved with this program. He even served as a volunteer in the program after he retired. While everyone probably remembers him more for his athletics background, I knew him as a good educator !! He will really be missed by all.

Our prayers go out to your entire family. May God bless you during this time. Bruce taught me what Boro Pride is all about. He will never be forgotten.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of Bruce on this earth. He's in God's hands and I'm sure that he is watching over all of you. He was such a great man and I enjoyed every minute of knowing Bruce. I will always remember working with Bruce at the high school. Such a great person.
