Feryl Ely, age 85, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away Tuesday July 17, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Jonesville, Virginia on December 22, 1932 to Kline and Golden (Burchett) Munsey. Mrs. Ely was a 3rd. grade teacher for Franklin Schools for 30 years and graduated from Lincoln Memorial University and Wright State. Feryl was preceded in death by her parents, son, Greg, and grandson, Gregory Lynn Ely II; and sister, Edith Tegge.
Feryl is survived by her husband of 64 years, Dewey Ely, a son, Barry (Brenda) Ely; 3 grandchildren, Gabe (Tracie), Christopher and Sarah, 3 great grandchildren, Gabriel, Matthew and Riley. Also a sister, Patti Noland. Funeral services are 10:00 am Monday at the Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Josh Clifford officiating.
