Frank Turner Jr.

Frank Turner Jr., age 81, of Carlisle, died Thursday, October 31, 2013 at the Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born November 5, 1931, in Clemmons, Kentucky the son of Frank Turner and Lillie Barger Turner. Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce Ann McElfresh Turner; three daughters, Vicki Jim Crooks of Arizona, Sherry Ed Williams of Monroe, Patricia Joe DeMun of Franklin; three sons, Jack Christy Turner of Middletown, Ed Cyndie Turner of Monroe, William Turner of Carlisle; 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; three sisters, Nan Leis of Tennessee, Julie Schreck and Kathy Johnson both of Hamilton; and two brothers, Richard and Curtis Turner both of Hamilton. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Rich Gifford, Reverend Eric Walter, and Reverend Dave Bowling officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery with military honors. A guestbook is available at www.breitenbachfuneralhome.com.
