Gary Vanhook

Gary L. Vanhook, age 54, of Smyrna, Tennessee, died Saturday, October 1, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 1, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of William V. Vanhook and Zena Watkins Vanhook. Gary worked as a sales engineer for Snider Electric Square D. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Miller Vanhook; his parents, William and Zena Vanhook of Leitchersfield, Kentucky; one sister, Amy Steve Placke of Harrison, Ohio; two nephews, Kyle and Tyler Placke of Harrison, Ohio; along with lots of loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Miller; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earnel and Betty Miller; and a sister-in-law, Karen Miller. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend James Anderson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park, Hamilton.
