Thompson, Gayle Ann Kruse, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 30, 2012. She was born January 17, 1942 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Edward Kruse and Marie Dattilo Kruse. Gayle was the beloved mother of Doug Thompson of Middletown, Eric Bobbie Thompson and Skipp Thompson both of Monroe. She was the cherished grandmother of Ashley, Kristina, Erica, Ethan, Jacob, and Andrew; loving niece of Janet "Nettie" Rhein; and caring friend to Leota Collinsworth. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Toni Henderson. She also leaves behind many dear friends and family. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM, Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Waugh officiating.
