Georgia "Opal" Middleton

Georgia "Opal" Middleton, age 78 of Franklin, Ohio passed away into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, March 16, 2025. She was born on April 6, 1946 in Tazewell, Tennessee, the daughter of Henry and Eula Mae (Smith) Milligan.

Opal was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a woman of unwavering belief, whose love for the Lord shined through in every aspect of her life. She attended the Freewill Baptist Church in Franklin, Ohio for many years before her health started to decline. Opal had a deep love for spending time with her family and friends. She loved sitting on her front porch in the summer listening to gospel music and playing Kings Corners.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Clifford Middleton, and her two brothers James Milligan and Roy Clifford Milligan.

Opal is survived by her four sons and two daughters-in-law, Darrell and Shananne Middleton of Eaton, Ohio; Terry Middleton of Middletown, Ohio; Chris Middleton of Franklin, Ohio; Shawn and Misty Middleton of Hillsboro, Ohio: 15 grandchildren: 27 great-grandchildren: sister Helen Bostic of Franklin, Ohio: two sister-in-laws Minnie Milligan of Tazewell, Tennessee; Irene Milligan of Middletown, Ohio: and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the Franklin Freewill Baptist Church - 6194 OH-123, Franklin, OH 45005-.
