Gilbert Vernon Pfistner, age 74, of Franklin, Ohio, died Wednesday February 10, 2016 at Sycamore Medical Center. He was born in Franklin, Ohio on December 14, 1941 to Newton and Ora (Thompson) Pfistner. Gilbert served in the US Army during Korean War. He was employed with Conrail Railroad for 22 years and retired in 1992. He was preceded in death by his father, Newton J. Pfistner, mother, Ora Lee Pfistner. Gilbert is survived by his wife of Sarah (Woods) Pfistner; two daughters, Amber Raby, Roxi Reed; four grandsons, Dusty Raby, Eric Raby, Bobby Reed, David Reed; two granddaughters, Miranda Raby, Gracie Reed; brother, David Boggs; sister, Kizzie French; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Tuesday February 16, 2016 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, Ohio with Joe Maggard officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery with military honors.
