Harold Holbrook

Harold (Huey) Holbrook, 71, of West Alexandria passed away peacefully at Grandview Medical Center on March 3, 2020. He was born to Ellen And Sandy Holbrook on October 17, 1948 in Hammond Kentucky. He graduated from Trenton High School in 1968 and enlisted into the US Army right after. He was honorably discharged with a National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and he was an expert marksman with the M16. He was a kind man with a big heart who loved his children, grand children and great grand children more than anything. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Linda, his parents, three brothers: Gerald, Frank, and Bill, and one sister: Odeane. He is survived by 2 brothers: Danny (Cathy) Holbrook, Lucky Holbrook and one sister, Leanna McQueen. He had two sons: David Calton, and Aaron Holbrook, one daughter: Wendy Brewer, one son in law whom he loved and treated like his own, Jason Brewer, 3 grandchildren Austin (Molly) Brewer, Adrianna Brewer, and Daniel Calton and 2 great grand children that he absolutely adored, Arabella Lovely and Rowan Brewer and a special niece that he loved like his own, Tina Parker; and numerous family and friends. There will be no services for he wished not to have them.
