Helen L. Carpenter, age 90, of Franklin, Ohio, died Wednesday November 22, 2017 at her residence. She was born in , Tennessee on July 12, 1927 to J. T. and Harriett (Carr) Leonard. Helen was a member of Eastview Baptist Church and a longtime volunteer at Otterbein Home. She was preceded in death by her father, J. T. Leonard, mother, Harriett Leonard, husband, LeRoy Carpenter, and sister, Mamie Fletcher. Helen is survived by her two sons, David Carpenter, Rick (Tammie) Carpenter; grandchildren, Scott, Matt, Tyler, and Caitlyn; great grandchildren, Luke, Sam, Amanda, Kinley, and Kannon; and brother, Cap (Jenny) Leonard; a brother-in-law, Bill Fletcher; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 10:00 am Wednesday November 29, 2017 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Dwaine Tilford officiating.
