Herman Banks

Herman Banks, age 84, born in Breathitt County, Kentucky, from Franklin, Ohio, died Saturday March 23, 2013 at Carlisle Manor surrounded by his family. Herman was preceded in death by his parents, James and America King Banks, his 1st wife, Lucille, the mother of his children, and 2nd wife Cledith Trusty Banks, brothers Ernest, Vernon, Joe, Charles, Bernest, sisters Mary Mae Lykins, Ethel Taulbee, and step daughter Juanita Wyatt. Herman is survived by his children Diana (Alvery) Combs, Michael (Teresa) Banks, Chris (Pam South) Banks, Roger (Donna) Banks, Philip (Debbie) Banks, and Dana Bowman Glover (Dave Glover), brothers G. B. Banks, Carl Lee Banks (June), step children Don (Fay) Trusty, Ron (Sandy) Trusty, Delores Trusty, Anna Barkalow, Peggy (Gary) Ledford, and Frank Wyatt, grandchildren Randy (Jenni) Combs, Ella Stricklin, Sarah Bowman, Josh, Jeremy, Eric, Mindy (Chris), Callie, Katie, Lexie, and Nathan Banks, Emilee (Kevin) Moore, Shelby and Morgan Glover, and 13 great grandchildren. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Carlisle Manor for their care, Crossroads Hospice, Dr. Scott Zollett, and Dr. Kurt Avery. Funeral services are 10:00 am Wednesday March 27, 2013 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Rev. Don Trusty officiating.
