Hobert preached for over 40 years and drove a truck with McLean Trucking Co. for over 20 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents,and a son, Steve Elige Baker.
Hobert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bessie; his daughter, Shelia (Rick) Garr; a son, Hobert G. (Lisa) Baker Jr.; a sister, Juanita Campbell; also several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 1:00 pm at the Victory Tabernacle, 5419 Glendell Drive, Franklin with Pastor Jim Lewis officiating.
