Ina Marie Patton

Ina Marie Patton, age 87 of Trenton, Ohio but resided in Liberty, Indiana, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Carlisle Manor Nursing Home. She was born February 14, 1930 in Middletown, Ohio the daughter of Austin Kennedy and Nancy (Moore) Kennedy. Ina spent her life raising four children and caring for her beloved husband of 40 plus years. She loved spending time with family and friends and maintaining her home and found peace and salvation working outside and keeping her yard beautiful. She is survived by two sons, James E. Patton and Ernie F. Patton, III, and a daughter, Leslie Moore all of Trenton; a granddaughter, Nichole Marie (husband, Terry, Jr.) Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Hannah Farley and Haven Johnson; sisters, Lucille Gilbert and Ruth Williams and many close friends that admired her strength, her independence and her wonderful sense of humor. Ina was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest F. Patton, Jr. in 1990; a daughter, Karen Sue Patton in 1976; four sisters, Wanda Mae Delver, Ann Shockey, Della Hart and Geneva Isabelle; and her brother, Tom Kennedy. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Lambes officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park, alongside her beloved husband and daughter.
