Ingrid Marie Fischer

Ingrid Marie (Persson) Fischer, age 88, of Springboro, OH passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023 at the Enclave of Springboro. She was born in Chicago, IL on May 19, 1935, the daughter of the late Per and Signe (Sonesson) Persson. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard Fischer in 2012 and her dear brother and sister-in-law, Per and Ruth Persson.

Ingrid is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Lori Fischer of Flat Rock, NC; her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Chris Earles, of Springboro, OH; two grandsons, Kevin (fiance`Delaney) Earles, Daniel (Girlfriend Preston) Earles. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, where she was active in the St. Mary Ladies Society. Ingrid was a member of the Silver Sneakers at the Y.M.C.A. and the Transplants Garden Club. Ingrid was very proud of her Swedish heritage, loved her grandchildren and traveling.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Day City Hospice and the staff of the Enclave for the care, love and support received by Ingrid during her illness.

Prayers will be held at 10:15 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Anderson Funeral Home- Springboro Chapel, 40 North Main Street, Springboro. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 9579 Yankee Road, Springboro. Entombment will be in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Kettering, OH. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ingrid may be made to The Day City Hospice.
