

Born November 3, 1947, in Cookeville, Tennessee, Jack was a devoted father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend. He found great joy in spending time with his family and friends, and especially enjoyed golfing, basketball, especially University of Dayton. He was a devoted member of the United Methodist Church of Maineville, Ohio. Jack was a graduate of Northridge High School class of 1965 where he played basketball. He also earned 2 associate degrees from Sinclair Community College.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Julie Sparks Coffey, her husband, Shawn, and their daughters, Shealyn and Shelby Coffey, of Lexington, Kentucky; his beloved partner Robin Anderson of Maineville, Ohio; his sister, Helen West, of South Carolina; his brother, Ernie Sparks, and his wife, Joyce, of Florida; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Rendy Elliott of Florida, David and Kathy Elliott of Dayton, Sara Blosser of Tipp City, and Paula and James Hlovchiec of Loveland: as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Sparks; his mother, Eva Stewart; his wife of 42 years Georgia Sparks in 2007; his brother, Arnold Sparks.
There will be a Gathering of Family and friends at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 East 2nd Street, Franklin, Ohio 45005 starting at 3:00 pm, followed by a brief service at 5:00 pm with Pastor Eric Minamyer presiding. A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date at the families convience.
