

James Everett Manning, age 87 of Springboro, Ohio passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 at Sycamore Medical Center. Everett was born in Ashmore, Illinois on November 6, 1928 to the late Chester and Ada Manning.
Everett served as a police officer for the City of Centerville, the Deputy Sheriff in Warren County, the Assistant Chief in Springboro and the Police Chief for Clearcreek Twp. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Eastern Star #55 F&AM & Springboro Eagles #4014.
Everett was a loving husband, father & grandfather. He was a friend to all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jean Manning; sons, James Edward Manning & Matthew Everett Manning and grandson, Joe Michael Manning. Everett will be missed by his loving children, Michael (Nannette) Manning, Roger (Nora) Manning, Rick (Joyce) Manning & Cindy (Chris) Kelley; daughter-in-law, Gretchen Manning; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Etta) Manning & Chester (Helen, deceased) Manning, Jr.; & sister, Wanda Fern (Eugene) Mullins
Funeral services are Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 10:00 am at Anderson Funeral Homes, 40 North Main Street Springboro, Ohio with Pastor Bruce Moore officiating. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm at the funeral home with a Masonic service at 7:30 pm.
