

James Lee Fisher, age 64 of Franklin, Ohio (Formerly of Pennsylvania) passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Born in Washington, PA on November 3, 1961. He was the son to the late James B. Fisher & Marie (Spataro) Fisher. James was a graduate of Avella High School, and then went on to attend Edinboro University in Erie, PA. Jim worked for Ryan Homes as a Project Manager and then in the Warranty Dept for over 30 years. He was a member of Springboro UCC Church, and was passionate about "Sleep in Heavenly Peace" a non-profit in Montgomery County, Ohio to ensure no child sleeps on the floor. In his free time you could find him watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins or Cincinnati Reds play. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time in the Smokey Mountains with his family. He will truly be missed.
Survived by his wife, Karen (Hill) Fisher, whom he married on June 23, 1984: children Heather M. Fisher; Jacob D. Fisher; James Luke (Emily) Fisher: grandchildren Kaitlyn (McKinnan) Stewart; Antonio Trejo; Mario Trejo; Addison Trejo; Troy Fisher; Brady Girdwood; Ethan Girdwood; Connor Girdwood: sister Jamey Fisher Kelly: as well as nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
