James L Hounshell

James Leslie Hounshell, age 62, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at his residence. James was born in Middletown, OH on March 1, 1961 to the late Albert and Remedios "Ping" Hounshell.

James went to school in Franklin, OH and lived his whole life there. He worked for Xerox in Monroe, OH for 29 years retiring in 2021. He was an avid camper and loved playing Frisbee golf. He also enjoyed his cats and playing darts. He will be missed by his many friends.

James was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leslie and Maudie Hounshell, his step mother, Sylvia Hounshell, his daughter, Priscella Hounshell, his twin sons, Bryan and Thomas Hounshell, his brothers, Bobby Hounshell and Bill Hounshell. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Peggy Jo Hounshell, his brothers, Carl (Shirley) Hounshell, Johnny Hounshell; his sister-in-law, Vickie Hounshell, his step sister, Shirley Binkley, many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be 1pm Thursday October 5, 2023 at the Franklin Church 704 S River St Franklin, OH with Pastor Mark Crider officiating. Visitation will be Thursdday from 12:30pm to the time of the service at the church.
