James V. Rice, 81, of Trenton died at his residence on Friday, July 25, 2014. He was born in Wayland, Ky. on January 1, 1933 to parents Virgil and Hester Rice. Mr. Rice is survived by his wife, Vonda, of 57 years. He is also survived by his daughters, Beth Dan Marsh, Susie Mike Harris and Kristie Bill Miller, his grandchildren, Sarah, Scott, Jenny, Emily and Trevor. Mr. Rice retired from Armco in 1987. He raced harness racing horses for more than 20 years. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at the Breitenbach McCoy Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Hughes officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park with military honors.
