James Emmitt Willoughby

James graduated from Camargo High School in Camargo, Kentucky. He retired after 38 years of service at AK Steel. He served in the National Guard and was an Elder at Crosspointe Church of Christ. He volunteered with Dayton Youth Chorus and Midwestern Children's Home. James loved coaching Little League, playing golf and bowling.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

James is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carolyn Willoughby; one daughter, Susan Willoughby-Crawford; two sons, James Gregory (wife,Dana) Willoughby and Jeffrey Vernon (wife,Jeanie) Willoughby; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Cassondra, Amber, Carissa, Chase (wife,Alexandra), Caylynn and Hannah; two great granddaughters, Myla and Cambrie.

Funeral service will be Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11:00 am at Crosspointe Church of Christ 5630 State Route 122, Franklin, OH with Minister Scott Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm on Friday and 10 to 11 am Saturday at Crosspointe Church of Christ. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
