I wrote some things, but for some reason it posted with the name of grandmal.
Dreams are sometimes forgotten. But, you will never be. I have such good memories of you, but there will be no more to make with you. You always gave me a big smile when I came to see you. I know you still knew us girls until the end. The last day when you had your eyes open, we took turns talking to you, and you smiled at each one of us that was there. But that was a few days before you past. We also have those special memories as well. I have a hole in my heart, that will never be filled, because that is where my love for you stayed.
One day we will see each other again with God, and what a happy day that will be. Your girls & Steve stuck by you with your good friend Ruby, and boy what a friend she was. She came to see you alot, and no one every questioned where her loyalty was when it came to you. I will always love you Mom. Gone, but never forgotten.

Such a fantastic aunt! I so enjoyed being with her. My mom (Nannie B) loved her so much and we appreciate the time she spent with mom. They loved to visit each other too. I am so glad I was able to visit too. This is hard to write through tears - I love you Aunt Toots. Love my sweet cousins, Sharon, Doris & Donna.

Doris, Losing a mother is the most difficult thing ever! Please know I am thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. May all your beautiful memories give you peace and comfort in the days ahead. Love you!

I have so many memories of my nana. I can't believe how much I am going to miss her and I hate that I couldn't be there to say goodbye. She called me her Sheababy. My son remembers going and staying with her when I was pregnant with Kirsten and went to the doctor. I couldn't believe he remembered that. She left an impression on everyone who knew her.
The things I have been remembering about her lately are her biscuits and fried chicken. She always made that when I spent the night. I will never think of the Exorcist movie without thinking of Private Benjamin and my Nanners. (Thats a story there nana and I always laugh about) She was one of the strongest people I know. I loved spending time with her. She loved everybody and I love her very much! Really going to miss you, but grateful for all the memories that I have. The things I remember most about Grandma, are memories of warmth and acceptance, with a love that was without judgement. She loved everybody, as she loved the Lord. I know she was a special lady and will be missed by all. God Bless You, Grandma.

My beautiful momma, the joy you brought into my life made my life so very special. We laughed together and at times when I would cry you would always say " Well honey, it will be okay " In the last few years I have missed hearing you say so many special words that have deepened in my heart, That only a mother could say and have so much meaning to it. You were such a good mother, you gave up so much to make sure us girls didn't go without, even if it was your last dime in your purse. It was very hard living so far away from you. Before you became ill we talked on the phone allot. I came home as much as possible to spend time with you and the family. We always had such good times. I still laugh about so many silly things you use to do. But mom I must say it is so very hard to write on here and not be sad about not being able to say it to you in person.My wonderful loving sister Sharon fulfilled your every wish before you passed and after. She did a awesome job making sure you were cared for. I am so proud of her and I know you are. I was never concerned about your well being and her decisions on your care, because my trust was 100% on her decisions. I am so happy that God choose you to be our mom. My Love for you is Unmeasurable. I will miss you more then you will ever know. May God keep your wings flying high.

My Mom, you left me with so many wonderful memories that it is hard to focus on just one. One of the most important things for me in my life is that you always knew I loved you. You had a way of making all who knew you feel that they had a special place in your heart and I always knew that I had mine. You always put your family at the top of your priority list and we all knew we were at the top. I am go grateful to Bethany Village for the love and care that you received there. It takes a special person to give the physical and mental care that you received and Bethany is filled with all those special employees. Employees that cried along with us when you were nearing the end of your journey because you were a loss to them as well. Thank you Bethany for all your compassion to mom and her family. Mom although I know your with God now I can't help but feel selfish by wishing you were still here with me, I love and miss you so much.

My Mother, what more can I say, other than you are dearly loved, by your daughters, Grandchildren, and great grandchildren. You were always there for all of us, and then it was our turn to take care of you. We did our best, to do what was best for you, but with the illness you had, it made it difficult at times. You never put up a fuss, and almost always had a smile on your face. Then the day came for God to watch over you. He did a fine job as well all the way until the end. But Sharon, did a great job with you, making sure all your needs were met, and for that, I love you sister. You made Mom, very proud....

You were my best friend from the start, you and I were Thelma and Louise , from singing a song making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, letting me do your hair and putting makeup on you. Watching movies on a Saturday and going to church in the morning, you'd never let me have hair hanging I'm my face, you were a grandma that made a huge impact on my life, the past few years have been hard but I knew you were still the same old granny that couldn't help but smile at everyone! You won't get to hold my first born , see me walk at graduation, be sitting there in the front row at my weeding, or even be able to be the granny to my children like you were to me, it hurts but I know your there every step of the way, I love you granny

Sharon, Tig, & Donna: Your mother was so loved by all of us and we consider it an honor to have been able to care for her in her last years. You will all be missed dearly.

I remember my Aunt "Toot" as always being a kind and fun person. She made me feel special as I'm sure she did all her nieces and nephews. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be greatly missed.

To the family of Ms. Ousley, may you be comforted and strengthen by God in your time of mourning. May your fine memories of her also bring you comfort. Please take courage in God's promise at Acts 24:15 of a resurrection. May this wonderful, soon to be fulfilled promise of God bring you peace now and in the coming days.
