Janice Elaine Maples

Janice Elaine Maples, age 74 of Middletown, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at her residence. She was born July 20, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of Harry Whalin and Pearl (Holcomb) Whalin. Janice loved movies and reading and especially spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ralph Eugene Maples; her son, Robert (wife, Geri) Maples; daughters, Lisa (husband, William) Cantrell, and Tara (husband, Mitch Miller) Maples; grandchildren William (wife, Ashley) Maples, Adrian (husband, Carlos) Thompson, William Cantrell, Jr., Christina Thacker, Brandy (husband, David) Kramer, Shane Maples, Jacob Ante and Emily Maples; numerous great grandchildren; brother, David (wife, Victoria) Whalin; and sister, Sandra (husband, Gary) Lynch. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mary Dean and Anne Tarlton.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
