Jason was born in Kettering, Ohio, on December 12, 1981, to Sherry Grissom and Kenneth Rogers.
Jason was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 2000. He was recently employed at Farmers and Merchants Bank as the Branch Manager in Miamisburg, Ohio.
Jason had a heart of gold and a sense of humor that could light up any room. He loved music and movies, but what mattered most to him was the people in his life and the joy he could bring to them. With his quick wit, infectious laugh, and caring spirit, Jason had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and important.
He was always there for the people he loved, ready to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or share a laugh when someone needed it most. His kindness, warmth, and genuine compassion touched the lives of so many and left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Above all, Jason’s greatest joy was his family. He treasured the time they shared and the memories they made together. Though he is deeply missed, those memories—and the love, laughter, and kindness he gave so freely—will be cherished forever and carried in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Irene Baker and Sim Johnson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie (Prairie) Rogers, whom he married on June 29, 2013; his beloved son, Owen Rogers; his parents, Sherry and James Grissom and Kenneth Rogers and Lesia Coffey; his brother, Brad Rogers, and his wife, Stephanie, and their children, Savannah, Natalie, Eloise, Madelyn, Jackson, Steven, and Alexander Rogers; his step-brother Samuel Coffey, and wife, Michelle, and their children Lionel and Ezra; his mother- and father-in-law, Patricia and Dale Prairie; his sister-in-law, Lindsay Klinzman, and her children, Brooke and Bodi; his grandparents, Kenny Baker and Robert and Rebecca Rogers; and his best friend Steve Rogers, along with his bonus family: Steve, Debbie, and Kelly, as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.
