

Jeffrey E. Pizel, age 84 of Lebanon, Ohio passed away peacefully at 12:13 PM at the Wood Glen Rehabilitation Center, Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday, December 2, 2025. Born in Chicago, Illinois on July 31, 1941. Jeffrey was a proud United States Army veteran, and had served in Berlin, Germany. Although, he faced many challenges in his youth, Jeffrey was an accomplished man; he raised himself from a difficult childhood, and became an entrepreneur, owning several businesses. Jeffrey was a Waste Water Superintendent in Jefferson, Ohio and also worked for the Waste Water plant in Lebanon, Ohio. He attended church at Ashtabula Methodist where he was an active member, and loved animals, especially dogs. He was somewhat of a gypsy soul, working with the Mills Brothers 3 Ring Circus; he was always willing to help those less fortunate; whether it be homeless, veterans, strangers- anyone who truly needed help, he was there. He will be missed deeply by those who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn McConnell: step-mother Mabel Pizel: mother-in-law Irene Hillyer.
Survived by his wife Kathleen (Hillyer) Pizel, whom he married in 2005: daughters Merry Briotta (Pizel); Angel Brewer; step- daughter Shannon & Michael Camplese; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother Bill Pizel; as well as many extended family members and friends.
