Joan McCullough

Joan (Creager) McCullough, age 91 of Franklin, Ohio passed away peacefully into Heaven at 3:43 AM on October 30th, 2025 at Hospice of Butler/Warren County. She was born in Piqua, Ohio on November 22, 1933, to the late Burley & Sarah (Hill) Creager. Joan attended several Baptist churches over the years in the area. She loved to travel with Richard and her sisters. Her favorite trips were to CA, CO, AZ, ME, VT, Gatlinburg, Myrtle Beach, a train ride out west and Graceland with her grandchildren. She loved bowling well into her 80s. Joan loved planting flowers, bird watching and walking at Cox Arboretum. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She touched many lives and will be missed dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harrison Richard McCullough: all of her siblings Dale Clark; Gale Creager; Opha Creager; Bobby Creager; Burl Creager; Ilene Dyke; Mae Stoltz; Jean Creager Martin: her best friends Jean, Elva and Glo: her foster parents, The Becks and family: and many Baker and McCullough in-laws.

Survived by her children Kim (Joe) Carpenter; Todd (Ginger) Baker: grandchildren Hannah Carpenter; Noah Baker; Macie Baker & Gilly Adu; Sierra Carpenter and fiancé Tim Boland; Laci (Michael) Pegg: great-grandchild Freyja Pegg: special brother-in-law Jr. Baker: special friends Shirley, Melinda, and Mary; nephew Bobby & niece Karen: as well as many extended family members and friends.

Friends may call on the family on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St, Franklin, Ohio 45005. Funeral service to begin at 1PM with Joseph Carpenter presiding. Burial to follow at Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, Ohio.
