Jodell (Tucker) Collins

Jodell Tucker Collins, 79, of Middletown, Ohio, died, May 1, 2016. She was born September 5, 1936 in Middletown, Ohio. She was born September 5, 1936 to Freida & Dewey Tucker. She is preceded in death by one grandson, Grant Szabo and one sister, Eileen Engle. Survived by husband of 58 years, Charles Collins; children, Kenneth Collins, Dr. Mike Collins and Karen (husband, Sandy) Szabo; seven granddaughters, Crystal, Molly, Logan and Erin Szabo, Chelsea and Marissa Collins, and Ashley Bengal; one grandson, Mikey Collins. She also leaves behind dear friends, Maggie, Blanche and Jewell. Jodell graduated from Middletown High School in 1954. Her favorite thing to do was watch her children and grandchildren play sports. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was an excellent cook, seamstress and was very organized. She was the heartbeat of our family and will be missed dearly. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Miami Valley Hospice, 6820 Roosevelt Ave., Suite B, Middletown, Ohio 45005. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, burial will be at Woodside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 PM prior to the service.
