We at Cedar Village will observing our quarterly memorial service, during which we remember the members of our community who have passed during the prior three months, on Monday afternoon, 3:30 p.m, January 14, in the Cohen Center at Cedar Village. Jodi's memory will be among those remembered at this service, and all are invited and most welcome to attend.

To the dear family, I am so sorry for your loss. Its never easy losing someone you love. Some say time heals wounds but nothing fills the void left when someone you love dies. With deep sadness, my heart goes out to Grant and the rest of the Ross/Yoder family. Jodi was a beautiful woman inside and out. Her smile and warmth could light up any room she walked into. She had such ability to console and empathies with those who needed it in times of despair. Jodi's loss is so heartbreaking to all that meet and knew her.

I only got to know Jodi over the last 6 weeks. My husband is in Cedar Village and Jodi was our social worker. She was always such a pleasure to work with and always came through for us with a solution to any problems we were having. She always had a huge smile every time I saw her. I last spoke to Jodi the evening before she passed away. Tuesday had been a particularly rough day for all of us and she greeted me with a huge smile that day and said "TODAY Is going to be a better day!". I really needed that smile and encouragement that day. Jodi touched my life in a positive way in the short time that I knew her and I'm sure I was just the end of a very long line of people she helped over the years. I'm sure you will be missed by many Jodi... but I wanted to say "thank you" for what you did to make my life a little easier during one of the most stressful periods of my life.

Today and yesterday where so wonderful for Jodi. She is now only in our memories of an incredible careing person, daughter, wife, mother, aunt, niece, and sister. Everyones support of words and huges means so much to MaryAnn and I and Jodi and family.

I was blessed to work with Jodi at Kettering Hospital. Through our conversations, I grew to "know" her son and daughter and how much she truly loved both of them. Jodi was a very smart and a well appreciated co-worker. I will never forget you Jodi, and all of our laughs and tears through our conversations. I pray that your family finds comfort and reflects on what a truly wonderful person you were in each of their lives. I will miss you always Jodi!!

To Jodi: A beautiful smile...a caring heart...a sweet spirit. You truely made this world brighter for everyone who knew you. I am so thankful for the wonderful memories that I have. I will cherish the messages that we sent back and forth over the last few years...you always had an encouraging word for me, and I am so grateful for that chance to get to know you more. She was thrilled when she found out she was having a son, just what she wanted most in life. I am so sorry that she lost her life so early in Grant's life. I pray for your healing in this tragic time. May your memories of your precious Jodi help you heal.

I was so very sad to hear about Jodi's death.The Winterhalter family has many fond memories of sweet Jodi growing us during those care free days in Oak Creek South. Aunt marry anne and uncle bill I am so sorry for your loss. Jodi was very special to us. I have allot of good memories of laying by the pool with her at Steve Streets house and being out in the sun. She really seemed to like that. Maybe thats where I got my love for the water :) I really enjoyed going to her wedding back in '96 and doing the macarena. It was alot of fun. She was a great cousin. I wish we could have spent more time together. Your in my thoughts and prayers and I just know that Shes having the time of her life with Aaron, gramma and grampa ross up in heaven. I'm sure he's keeping her busy and smiling. :) Love you all so much. We're here if you need us.

I can't say enought nice things about Jodi. She truely loved her family, friends and patients. I will always remember that day I came into see you and you just knew why I was so excited. You hugged me and cried with me as I told you we had been matched with a birthmom, you just knew.... you were an amazing friend and mom and I will miss you tremendously.

I worked with Jodi at Kettering Medical Center.I am a chaplain so she and I were often together on the sad, hard cases. She brought such love and hope to those in hopeless situations. I will never forget her patience and care. Our little ones on mother baby and our parents were lucky to have her for an advocate. We were blessed to have her as a friend and coworker. My prayers and thoughts are with you as you grieve her death and all it means. She often mentioned the love she felt for her family, especially her husband and children. I am so sad she is gone.
