John T. Buckley

John T. Buckley, age 73, of Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Sycamore Hospital. He was born June 16, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late William E. and Louis (Stephens) Buckley, Jr. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Danny Buckley.

John is survived by his daughter, Nikki and husband, Jr. Fultz; his son, Shane and wife, Shawna Buckley; a brother, Gary Buckley; six grandchildren, Jacob (Chasity) Brumfield, Dylan Fultz, Mackenzie Seitter, Seth Fultz, Cody Buckley and Dustin Buckley; 4 great grandchildren, Paislee and Aubrey Fultz, Kyle and Jaxson Brumfield; "bonus" grandchildren, Adrianna "Lulu" Taulbee and Kirsten Denry. He is also survived by two nieces, Jami Brooks and Sarah Buckley.

John is a veteran of the United States Army and retired from AK Steel after 34+ years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Franklin VFW, Franklin Eagles, Franklin AMVETS and the Miamisburg American Legion.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Anderson Funeral Home- Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin with Reverend Brian Morris officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
