John R. Davidson

John R. Davidson Sr., age 69, of Franklin, Ohio, died Thursday March 23, 2017 at Highlands Regional Medical Center in FL. He was born in Kingsport, Tennessee on May 20, 1947 to Gilbert and Ruby (Wagner) Davidson. John served in the US Army during the Viet Nam War stationed in Korea, was a member of VFW in Franklin and the Moose Lodge. He was employed with Middletown Waste Water Treatment and also a substitute bus driver for Franklin and Carlisle. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert A. Davidson, mother, Ruby Davidson, son, Donald Davidson, brother, Gilbert Davidson, Jr., sister, Mary Alice Bush. John is survived by his wife of 35 years, Belinda "Becky" (Lester) Davidson; son, John (Michelle) Davidson Jr.; step son, David (Tracy) Downey; grandchildren, Zach, Joe, Courtney, Sydney, Cody; and a special daughter-in-law, Michelle Davidson. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Saturday April 1, 2017 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Joseph Hall officiating.
