My heart is broken for your family. Johnny was so special to me. I was only 8yrs old when Johnny was born. My Daddy & Edith were 1st cousins but they were so much closer than that. They were best friends growing up. There aren’t very many pictures of Daddy throughout his childhood without his best friend, Edith. So when Johnny was born , Mom took me for a visit. When Edith placed Johnny in my arms, my world changed! He was the very first newborn baby I had ever held. I knew from that moment that I was going to work with newborns as a career. I eventually became a labor & delivery nurse & I attribute my career to holding sweet Johnny Fox. Not only did he set my future on its career path, he impacted the next generation as well because our daughter is a labor & delivery & NICU RN.
I’m sorry for your loss. My heart especially breaks for his children. May the Lord wrap all of you warmly in his embrace.
