Lance, I saw that your father had passed. I am so sorry. I watched the video about him and feel like I know him, a good father and grandfather and a wonderful person. I lost my father 3 years ago and I know the sorrow you feel. You and your family are in my prayers.

He was much loved and led a wonderful life, according to the memory video posted here. I remember when Aunt Carol was writing to Uncle Vance while he was in the service. I remember watching Aunt Carol walk down the aisle in her wedding dress to marry Vance. My only regret is not living close enough all these years so I could have known you as adults much better. He loved you a lot, Aunt Carol. So apparent in the photos here. Be comforted by your family....you will all have to help one another through this. He was a kind and gentle person.

Love, Donna
