I too worked at Armco with Joe for many years n the International Group. Joe was a great guy and I can remember many good times we had together. I was very saddened to learn the news just today from our mutual longtime friends Paul and Patti Walker. While I never really knew Joe and Candy's daughters, we have two of our own about the same ages and our thoughts and prayers go out to them in this time of grief.

I was privileged to know and also work closely with Joe. He was truly a great colleague and an even better friend. Our hearts and prayers go out to his entire

 family but especially his daughters and grandson during this difficult time. May God be with you and guide you in the days ahead. Paul & Patti Walker

What a shock to be at Sandy's 50th reunion mixer and to learn of Joe's passing. We are sorry we missed seeing you Joe! Our deepest sympathy to all his friends and family during this time of grief. May God grant you comfort and peace in knowing Joe was loved and will be sadly missed.

i was truly saddened by the passing of Joe who i grew up around at Wilson school from First grade on til graduation. We did both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts together, meeting at his house and others as they took turns. My Heart and Prayers go out to the friends and Family. May GOD take you into those Big Loving arms and hold you there a while!! What a Gracious man!!!

This was just too sudden and so hard to believe. I worked with Joe at Warman-Lowe. He was so nice and such a caring person with a great sense of humor. He will be missed so much. Rest in peace, Joe.

Thank you Joe for being an outstanding boss and mentor at Armco. But most of all, thank you for your great friendship over these many years. You will be missed greatly. May you rest in peace, my friend. My deepest sympathy to family and friends.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of Joe's passing. It seemed so sudden. I feel for his daughters having lost their Mother just about a year ago and now their Dad. Thats such a scary, lonely feeling. I hope and pray that these young ladies will be O K. His death also brings all of us (classmates) the realization that our time here on earth is short.
Joe was a kind hearted soul. We had a lot of laughs in high school. May his memory live on forever in the hearts of his daughters.

Such sad news to hear of Joe's passing. He was a great mentor to me as I was beginning my career at Armco in the late 90's. He was a kind and compassionate soul. Always encouraging and helpful to many. I firmly believe that God will accept Joe with open arms for all the good he has done. May the Lord comfort you today and the days ahead. Joe was a prince of a guy from kindergarten on: kind to the core. We were lucky to know him. Deepest sympathies to your family.

I remember Joed (was I the only one who called him that?) from school and from church. He was always lots of fun and a great friend.

Joe was a classmate as well as a member of my family by marriage. His past wife was my dear cousin Candy. Joe did much to keep classmates in touch and to renew old friendships. He as a great guy and will be deeply missed.

Joe, I surely enjoyed working with you and knowing you. You taught me a lot and working at Armco/AK was so much better with you there. Always a smile and kind word. My sympathies to your family and friends.

Joe was just a wonderful guy, very patriotic and served proudly in the Marines. He was a big supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project and he and I often talked about that. We exchanged emails on numerous topics and had recently been emailing back and forth on a topic. I sent him an email on Thursday morning, but never received a reply. Perhaps he had passed away already. My thoughts and prayers are with his daughters during this most grievous of times.

Joe's passing has come as a shock. I saw him last month at our class luncheon at Wildwood Golf Club. I have known Joe since kindergarten at Wilson School. He never changed, always kind, generous and humorous. He will be missed. Rest in peace old friend.

I knew Joe at MHS class of 64. He was always such a gentleman...he will be missed by all that knew him. Our deepest sympathy to Joe's family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was very sad to hear about Joe's passing. I met Joe in high school as we both worked at The Jug.He was always courteous, humorous and friendly.
Years later Joe and his MHS ' 64 reunion committee invited our Fenwick committee to join them in a combined 45th then 50th reunion. Lot of fun.
Joe was always organized and when it came to friendship he got it.
My sincere condolences to Joe's family and his Middie classmates and friends.
