Judith Fix

Judy graduated from Derby High School, New York, in 1964, then went on to receive an Associates Degree in Business from the University of Hawaii in 1987.

Judy loved her family immensely, with the priority of her life’s work being a devoted mother and dependent spouse to her military veteran husband, Michael. She attended every sporting, social, school, and career celebration for her son, husband, and extended family.

Even as a child, Judy loved being outdoors, camping, and is a world traveler, twice over. She and her family traveled and camped throughout Europe for eight years, Volksmarched across Germany, stood on the observation deck of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, attended live plays in England, and skied the Berchtesgaden Alps in Germany. Visiting Niagara Falls in Canada, RVing across North America, and swimming off the beaches of Waikiki, Hawaii, are all part of her journey and life story. Judy and her husband retired in Franklin, Ohio, enjoying retired life RVing across the US, assembling puzzles, and serving as an advocate for Christ and devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Franklin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Peggy, and Barbara; brothers, Jerry, and Jimmy.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Michael Fix; son, Michael (Laura) Fix; grandchildren, Madison, and Audrey Fix.

A visitation for Judy will take place on Saturday, January 14th, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second Street, Franklin, Ohio, 45005. Memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 am. A reception will follow the service at First Baptist Church of Franklin, 16 W. Second Street, Franklin, Ohio, 45005.
