Julia Smith

Julia Ann Smith, age 89 was born on October 26, 1921. She was married to her husband of nearly sixty years, Luther Smith, who preceded her in death, along with her granddaughter, Hope Ann and grandson, Mark. She was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and served the Lord with a faithful heart. It was their desire that their family home become a home for missionaries to use in transit or on leave and Grace Baptist Church honored their request. She lived a long and full life with her five children, Nora Jean, Pamela, Greg, Richard, and Judy. She enjoyed the love of fifteen grandchildren, Mark, Bill, Missy, Paul, Robbie, Lisa, Faith, Matthew, Micah, Patrick, Bailey, Trevor, Beau, Dane, and Ashley. She had twenty-seven great grandchildren, and four great- great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all of her children, family and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday September 1, 2011 at 11am at Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Green officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery.
