June Darlene Booso, 85 of Franklin passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 27, 2026. June was born November 4, 1940 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to the late Alva R. and Ruth Dale (Rodger) Carr; also preceding her death are her beloved husband of almost 50 years, George Booso in 2025, siblings Donna Mae, Ann, Janice, Ruby, Virgil, Lloyd, her pet dogs Trissy and Sandy and pet cat Sam.
June leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Terri (Ray) Young, two granddaughters Dawn (Kyle) Sloan, Missy (Chris) Abshire; great-grandchildren Nick (Brianna) Yates, Britney Yates, Hailey (Jameson) Sloan-Payne, Caleb Sloan, Hagan Abshire, Hadley Abshire; three great-great-grandchildren Cooper Yates, Charlie May Yates, Addelynn Payne. Also surviving are her sisters Wanna (Wes), Faye and Linda; sister-in-law Ethel Booso, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special friends Chuck (Tammy) Richards, Patti (Steve) Hahn.
June was part of the first Avon cosmetic production facility that opened June 1965 in Springdale, Ohio. She enjoyed BINGO with her daughter, granddaughters and friends. June bowled for many years, loved McDonalds black coffee, and especially loved spending time with her granddaughters.
June’s family will receive friends at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 East 2nd Street, Franklin, Monday, November 2, 2026 starting at 11:00 am, followed by funeral services at 1:00 pm. Following services, June will be laid to rest next to her beloved George in Woodhill cemetery.
