Kathy Lowe

Kathy Anness Lowe, age 63, of Middletown, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 18, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. Kathy was born June 14, 1949 in Middletown, Ohio and was a lifelong resident. Kathy was the daughter of Barbara nee Greathouse Anness and Hody Anness. Her father preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jim Lowe, daughter Barbara S. Dolph David, granddaughters Alexis and Samantha, mother Barbara Anness, and her sister Susan S. Lane Michael.

Kathy was a former member of the Middletown Garden Club and took special pride in her flower garden and yard. She had a special talent for landscaping and was very knowledgeable in trees and shrubbery. She was a lifelong member of the Middletown Tennis Club and spent many enjoyable hours there with her friends. Kathy was very artistic. She enjoyed taking lessons and volunteering for many years at the Middletown Arts Center. She also had a great love of animals and spent much time caring for and finding homes for strays. Kathy was a lifetime member of the Church of the Ascension.
