Kernie Leonard Collins

Kernie Leonard Collins, age 81, of Franklin, OH, passed into Heaven on Sunday March 31, 2024 at the Franklin Ridge Nursing Home. He was born in Hazard, KY on October 30, 1942 to the late James Marvin and Wilda Marie Collins.

Kernie retired from the Appleton Paper Company, he enjoyed working on homes, was an avid knife collector and was quite the joker always ready for a good laugh.

He was preceded in death by his brother, James (Pauline) Collins and his sister, Virgie (Paul). Kernie is survived by his wife, Dorothy Collins; his two sons, Keith (Tina) Collins, Brad (Lora) Collins; his two daughters, Teresa (Steve) Clark, Karen Collins-Wathen; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his three brothers, Gene (Debborah) Collins, Junior Collins, Ronnie Collins; his two sisters, Alberta (Denzil) and Willene (Rex).

A Graveside Service will be 1pm Friday April 5, 2024 at Woodhill Cemetery 6228 Hamilton-Middletown Rd Franklin, OH with Pastor James "Skip" Collins officiating.
