OBITUARY

Kevin Joe Adams

January 4, 1972August 5, 2019

Kevin Joe Adams (AKA Kevin #1- but that will always be up for debate), passed away Monday, August 5, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. Kevin was born January 4, 1972 in Dayton, Ohio the son of James and Shirley (Flanary) Adams. Kevin is survived by the love of his life of 24 years, Jennifer (Emery) Adams. Son Ryan Adams (Taylor); Daughter Hannah Adams; Brothers Jeffrey (Cathrine) Adams, Jerry (Sandra) Adams, Greg (Teresa)Adams, and Keith (Dee) Adams; he is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and close friends that loved and adored him dearly.

Kevin held an Associates degree of Applied Nursing (RN) from Sinclair Community College, which allowed him to selflessly help others throughout his career. Kevin held many roles throughout his career but most recently spent the last seven years working at CHI Health at Home as a Regional Director of Clinical Services.

Kevin enjoyed listening to music, hunting with his Father, brothers and son, golfing with close friends (albeit not very well), rooting on his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, spending time with his family and friends, as well as his nightly bowl of cereal.

Taken too soon, Kevin was a devout Christian, kind hearted, giving and gentle soul. He was a dedicated Son, Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Friend, worker and provider. Family was his number one priority in life. Kevin was a selfless man who lived by saying "what can I do to help". We should all ask this of ourselves everyday. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Kevin's honor to the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends Monday, August 12, 2019 at 11AM until the time of service at 1PM at Wellspring Baptist Church located at 2094 East State Route 73, Waynesville, Ohio 45068. Graveside service to follow at Springboro Cemetery, Sean Ireland officiating. Arrangements are in the care of Anderson Funeral Home, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio 45066. The family would love to see you all there.

Kevin was the most sincere, kind, caring person I have ever met. Kevin never met a stranger. He was always full of smiles and made your day brighter when he was around. I owe a lot to Kevin. He taught me so much in the last 8 years and I wouldn't be where I am today without his guidance. He made getting up and going to work enjoyable, and I always looked forward to working with him. I am terribly sorry for your loss.

My sincere condolences for your loss, I met Kevin a few years ago, the man knew no stranger. He worked very hard to get where we was and I'm proud to have known him as my friend. As the days go by, may you feel the love of God's arms around you just just like Kevin did , he was proud of his children and happy to have such a loving wife. May God bless and love each and everyone of you each and every day

There is not enough time or words in the vocabulary to describe what a kind, caring, wonderful person Kevin was. Kevin had a way about him that could make everyone feel welcomed, appreciated and loved. His kindness touched all aquiantances, co-workers, friends, and family the instant you came in contact with him. His smile would welcome you in and then When he asked, “how are you doing?” He REALLY wanted to know. Quick to offer support you could always know he was ready to lend a hand, his caring heart or a shoulder to lean on. Kevin has a legacy that we all look up to... one that will inspire us to be better, kinder, more loving to those around us. We were so very blessed to have him in our lives. I am so terribly sorry for the loss you are feeling and hope that the wonderful memories you have of Kevin will help you and your family through your time of sorrow.

although I have not seen or worked with Kevin for many years,Kevin left a strong wonderful memory with me that I still think about and smile . I worked with him-at Fidelity when he was in nursing school and I supervised some of his cases which everyone loved him
Then it went full circle when he finished school and ended up my supervisor!
Kevin you will be greatly missed ! What a priviledge it was to have known you
