

Though Larry lived without sight, he saw the beauty in life with amazing grace. His deep faith in God, his love for people, and his joyful spirit and humor brightened every room. Larry was a hard-working man, dedicating 17 years to Goodwill Industries and Dayton Superior Corporation.
A loyal sports fan, Larry enjoyed the Cincinnati Reds, Bengals, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved a good meal with family, especially if it included his niece’s german chocolate cake. Larry had a remarkable memory he called his “computer”and would remember everyone's birthdays. He would be the first one to call to wish them a blessed day.
Larry’s family, especially his sisters, were his greatest treasure. He cherished time spent together and loved deeply and fully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, laughter, and unconditional love. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Hannah (Boggs) Griffith; his sister, Deloris Hasmann; his brother-in-law, Bill Hasmann; his brother, Hubert Griffith Jr; his niece, Kristie Cox; and his service dog Jacob. He is survived by his two sisters, Patty (Tim) Coffman and Bonnie (Dennis) Burt; his nieces and nephews, Lindsey Coffman, Stacey Witherspoon, Jason (Shelley) Burt, Michelle (Kendell) Wherry, Jody Coffman, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Though his earthly journey has ended, Larry’s spirit lives on in the countless hearts he inspired. He will be remembered as a light in this world, a true angel on earth who taught us all how to see.
Visitation will be at Anderson Funeral Home Franklin, located at 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, OH 45005, on November 8, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Scotty Robertson officiating. Larry will be entombed at Woodside Cemetery in Middletown.
