Laura Virginia Carroll

Laura Virginia Carroll, age 91, Middletown, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Spring Hills of Middletown. Laura was born in Cattlettsburg, Kentucky on March 15, 1925 to the late James and Armina Opell.

Laura was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a friend to all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey F. Carroll; daughter, Debra Moehring, brother James Perry Opell; sister, Dora Nunley. Laura will be missed by her loving daughter, Janet Groves; son, Mark Carroll; brothers, Admiral Dewey Opell, Bill Opell, Gerald Ray Opell; sister, Sarah Jane Pace; grandchildren, April, Eric, Lori, Justin, David, Adam and Zach and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Grant Lawrence officiating. Burial in Woodside Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at the funeral home.
