Lisa Gay Lawson

She is survived by her children Brian (Emily) Tipton of Middletown, Ohio and Tonya (Rob) Delaposta of Akron, Ohio. Her stepchildren, Amy (Brett) Reffitt of Franklin, Ohio, James Lawson of Waynesville, Ohio, Anna Lawson of Middletown, Ohio, and John (Melody) Lawson of Morehead, Kentucky. Her grandchildren, Taylor (Noah) Yancy, Brandon Tipton, Rose Delaposta, Lainey Delaposta, Levi Deloposta and great grandchildren, Cayden Poteet and Carter Yancy. Her Mother, Molly (Millie) Gay of Franklin, Ohio and stepmother, Sylvia Azbill of West Carrollton, Ohio. Her siblings, Teresa Current of Middletown, Ohio, Gregg (Martha) Azbill of Franklin, Ohio, Lezlie (Tim) Goins of Middletown, Ohio, Chuck (Marica) Gay of Fairfield, Ohio, Randy (Marie) Azbill of Miamisburg, Ohio, Darrin (Cheri) Gay of Carlisle, Ohio, and Kristy (Tim) Bowling of Franklin, Ohio. As well as multiple nephews, nieces, extended family, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Lawson, her father, Alvin Azbill, her stepfather, Charles Gay, and brother Alvin “Scooter” Azbill Jr. Visitation and funeral services will be held at Anderson Funeral Home on Monday, June 8th, 2026. Visitation service will be held from 11am-1pm and funeral service from 1pm-2pm with Nickolas Azbill officiating. The funeral home is located on 1357 E 2nd St. Franklin, Ohio 45005. Graveside interment will be held after the funeral at Miami Cemetery in Waynesville, Ohio. Miami Cemetery is located at 6379 Corwin Ave, Waynesville, OH 45068.
