I'm so glad that Jame got support. Sometimes little ones are the ones that get it right. Dylan (Jack's grandchild) put his little hand on my shoulder at funeral and it was so comforting.

After recently learning of Lisa's passing, I recall a flood of memories working with Lisa during my teenage years at Hidden Valley Fruit Farm.  All were wonderful - encouraging, resourceful, and a good mentor for responsibility.  Her mother was also a driving force after relocating to the area, always encouraging, always supportive, always welcoming with a warm smile.  While saddened to hear of such loss in the Shetterly family, but certainly both women left their mark for the next generation

To Lisa's family, workmates, and close friends, I offer my sympathy. I know the family has suffered more than one recent loss - God be with you.

Lisa was a childhood friend. Her parents and mine played cards late into the night occasionally and they loved right up the road from us. I remember her as a strong person and not afraid to speak her mind, but very kind to me. Since I was the \little kid\" this kindness stuck with me as her defining quality. Rest in peace sweet lady."

When my son was younger I called up to Hidden Valley and spoke to Lisa. I told her I had a 13year old (Andrew, who she named Andy)son. I said he wasnt one for responsiblty but she said she wld hire him anyway. Her exact words were \bring him here and we will make a man of him.\" That summer lead to fall and fall continued throughout his high school career for him. I believe she had him scared because he never had a cross word to say about her or to her. She was a woman with a heart of gold and she will truly be missed. Thanks Lisa for being you and for taking a chance on my son. I know he learned a lot from both you and Bob although he caused you some headaches in the process. Rest in Peace sweet lady rest in peace."

My sympathy to the family, my friends and long - time neighbors. All the kids in the neighborhood were fortunate that we lived so close and shared so much. Baseball, laughter, and tons of nonsense! Great times! My wife and I are praying for the family during another difficult time.

I was at my Mom's house Friday. My 17th month old grandson walks into the kitchen, Jamie was sitting there, and he crawls onto Jamie's lap and just hugs and hugs him. It's like he knew

Thank you for your dedication & friendship. You will be greatly missed. We had a lot of fun together! As long as I can remember, you've been at the farm. Love & miss you.

Lisa will be missed greatly. Mike and I always enjoyed talking with Lisa at Hidden Valley in the fall as we went there often to get apples and their caramel apples. Lisa was a wonderful person and so hard working. Rest in peace, Lisa. Our prayers are with the family.
