Luana Deaton

Luana Deaton, age 70, of Trenton, died Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. She was born August 8, 1944 in Middletown, the daughter of Montford Shearer and Hazel Sparks Shearer. Luana was a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Overpeck. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Blaine Deaton; two daughters, LaRonda Daryl Barnette and LaTonya Timothy Brunner both of Trenton; two grandchildren, Sierra and Tyler; one stepdaughter, Susan Deaton of Franklin; one stepson, Anthony Deaton of Middletown; step grandchildren, Jessica, Casey, Stephanie, Emily, Bobby Ray; numerous step great grandchildren; one brother, Allen Shearer; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Imogene Shearer; one brother, Clifford Shearer; one niece, Becky Shearer; her stepfather, Donald Lambert; and one step brother, Donnie Lambert. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Anderson and Reverend Mike Carmody officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery. in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heart's Rescue Sanctuary, Make A Wish, or Hospice of Dayton.
