

Lucymae “Toots” McNabb, age 94 of Middletown, passed away Monday morning, August 17, 2015 at the Liberty Retirement Community. She was born June 21, 1921 in Middletown, the daughter of William Kelly Trimble and Cora Mae (Wells) Trimble. Lucymae worked as the Registrar for the City of Middletown for 25 years, retiring in 1986. She was a longtime member of the Breiel Boulevard First Church of God. Lucymae is survived by her daughter, Pam (husband, Steve) Leapley of Englewood; grandchildren, Steven (wife, Christina) Leapley, and Stephanie (husband, Earl) Neilsen; and great grandchildren, Justin, Samantha, Tessa, and Eli; two sisters, Mildred Pierce and Ruby Highley; and two sisters-in-law, Barbara Trimble and Alma Taulbee. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard “Junior” McNabb; a sister, Winifred Slimak; and a brother, Herb Trimble. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday at Breitenbach McCoy Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend Eric Newell officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until service time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Residents Fund at the Liberty Retirement Community or Hospice Care of Middletown.
