

Margaret Ann Williams, 94 of Franklin, Ohio passed away on June 28, 2019 surrounded by family. She was born on January 8, 1925 in Franklin, Ohio to the late Ralph Fitzgerald and Edna (Blackford) Fitzgerald.
On Valentine's Day in 1942, she married William H. Williams, Sr. who was the love of her life. Margaret Ann was a long-time member of St. Mary Church where she taught catechism, sang in the choir and played the organ and piano. She enjoyed reading, playing 500 Rummy with her family and was a member of the Ding-A-Ling chorus for many years. Margaret Ann had a sweet and caring demeanor and her greatest joy was taking care of her family, whom she nurtured with love and faith. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Ralph and Edna Fitzgerald, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William H. Williams, Sr., daughter-in-law Nancy Williams; great grandchildren Zachory and Morgan Deaton, and sisters Mary Fitzgerald, Betty Fitzgerald, and Lucille Caron. Margaret Ann will be missed by her 11 children; Gloria (Donald) Dent, William (Pam Wood) Williams, Jr., Teresa Jones, Rosemary (Russell) Yenser, R. Joseph (Janice) Williams, Daniel (Karen) Williams, Nancy (Alan) Stonerock, Sr., Anthony (Celena) Williams, Angela (Tony) Banks, Regina (Charles) Gast, and Christopher (Amy) Williams, Sr.; 30 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren; 4 great great granddaughters; and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 11 am until 2 pm on Friday, July 5, 2019 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Parish, 9579 Yankee Rd. in Springboro. Mass of Christian Burial at 2 pm on Friday, July 5, 2019 at church, officiated by Father James Manning. Burial to follow services in Woodhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary of the Assumption, Society of St. Vincent De Paul or Knights of Columbus.
