Marilyn C. Allen age 69 of Middletown, Ohio passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. She was born August 1, 1942 in Scottsburg, IN the daughter of Arnold and Omega Cravens.
She is preceded in death her parents; her husband Albert Allen; a son, Anthony Paul Newton; a brother, Ronald Cravens; and a sister, Rose Marler.
Marilyn is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Sweezy and Rachel Ellison; a brother, James Cravens; and three sisters, Patty Hillman, Faye Hagen, and Juanita Ramer. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren and best friend, Marilyn Bowling.
Funeral service will be Friday, August 19, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Anderson Funeral Home (Franklin) Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. A graveside service will be Friday, August 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Scottsburg Cemetery in Scottsburg, IN.
