

Marilyn had a magnetic personality and a beautiful smile. She was very hospitable and loved to entertain. She was always known as the life of the party, and never knew a stranger. She was an artist, and loved doing crafts. Family was very important to Marilyn, she enjoyed spending a lot of time with them and adored watching the children and babies interact. Marilyn was also known to be quite the baker, as she loved sweets, especially chocolate. Marilyn graduated from Miamisburg in the class of 1958.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Jacob Gillespie, sister, Nancy Dye, and infant brother David.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of over 64 years, Richard Grimm; daughters, Stephanie Denise Ciudad, and Jennifer (Terry) Gillespie; son, Eric (Diane) Grimm; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way; sisters, Sue Anne May, and Melinda Henger; brother, Steve Bauer; as well as many friends.
A celebration of Marilyn's life will take place June 22, 2024, at Eastview Baptist Church, 4289 State Route 122, Franklin. Join us for memories and fellowship from 11:00-12:30 and a memorial service from 12:30-1:30.
