Collier, Mary Poncella age 90, of Trenton, entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 23, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Dingus, Kentucky on July 14, 1925 to the late Roy and Beatrice Williams Gilliam. Ponnie was a longtime member of the Yankee Road First Church of God. Ponnie served many cherished years as a Sunday School teacher and Custodian at Yankee Road First Church of God. On July 6, 1946 Ponnie married the love of her life, the late Lloyd Collier, in West Liberty, Kentucky. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Geneva Smith and Mondella Bradley; three brothers in law, Andrew Bradley, Stanley Pelfrey and Winfred Robbins.
She is survived by three children: Paula (Randy) Pence of Trenton, Andrea (Ernest) Robinson of Middletown and Richard (Marilyn) Collier of Batavia; 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 adopted great grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 4 step great great grandchildren, 2 sisters: Avanell Robbins of Fairborn, Ohio and Loretta (Robert) Stapleton of Hamilton, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Yankee Road First Church of God with Reverends Rodney Williams and Kevin Collins officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Tuesday, June 28 at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park.
