Mary Louise (Somers) Tyndall

Mary Louise (Somers) Tyndall, age 96, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at her residence. Mary was born in Dayton, OH on July 29, 1926 to the late Harold and Edna (Cline) Somers.

Mary loved animals of all kinds. In later years she loved feeding the birds (and squirrels and chipmunks) and watching them. She loved the simples pleasures of life: sitting in the sun, looking at the sky “it’s a beautiful day” she said every day. She had a beautiful collection of books about spirituality she loved reading. To know her was to love her. She will be sadly missed.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Robert Tyndall. She is survived by her children, Bob (Pam) Tyndall, Laura (Steve) Hodson, Mindy Robinson, Ruth Cornett; her grandchildren, Alicia Robinson, Matthew Cornett, Christopher Cornett, Ben Hodson, Alison Marcia, Paul Elliott and Jeff Elliott; and four great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be Monday from 1pm to 2pm at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be 2pm Monday January 23, 2023 at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005. Burial will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
