Maude Turner (Herald)

Maude Turner (Herald) , age 84, of Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at the Atrium Medical Center. Maude was born in Wolfe Coal, KY on May 23, 1939 to the late Jesse and Polly Ann (Turner) Raleigh.

Maude was a member of the Rose Chapel Church in West Carrollton, was a wonderful mom and her whole life was about her family.

Maude was preceded in death by her first husband of 63 years, Rev. John Turner; her son, Rickey Turner; her brother, Robert Raleigh and her grandson, Shawn Crase. She is survived by her second husband of 6 years, Sam B Herald; her children, Anita (Mark) Newkirk, Marcella (Marvin) Simpson, Loretta (Dave) Eastridge, Melissa Jarvis, Jessica (Jason) Moss; seven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren.

A visitation for Maude will be held Monday, July 17, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. with Pastor Sammy VanHoose officiating.

Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery, Springboro, OH.
